AI career positioning

Your resume should not stand between you and getting the job.

This site lets you create a resume tailored to every job you apply for. Write your career story once, and we turn it into a fact-based Career Profile. Then generate a tailored resume for each job description, in the employer’s language, written under strict rules and checked line by line against your facts.

Two tailored resumes are included when you create an account. No card required.

We build your resume from your facts. Every claim is checked against them before you can download, so nothing is invented or generic and it’s truly yours.

This is a positioning system, not a template

Career Profile

Your story and past resumes become one structured set of facts, each tagged with a traceable fact ID.

Evidence check

Every job requirement is marked evidenced, partial, or absent against your record. No scores, no guesswork.

Tailored resumes

Each version speaks the employer’s language and tone, and translates a complex career into evidence tailored to the job you’re targeting.

Honesty audit

Every generated claim is traced back to a source fact, and anything worth a second look is flagged for review.

How it works

Your career is bigger than a single resume.

Tell your story once. We identify key experiences for each open job posting and craft a tailored, evidence-based resume.

  1. 01

    Tell your story

Write freely about what you’ve been responsible for, experienced and accomplished. No formatting rules.

  2. 02

    Add your resumes

Upload or paste everything you already have. More source facts, stronger position.

  3. 03

    Paste a job description

See exactly where your evidence lands against each requirement.

  4. 04

    Generate and review

Get .docx, .pdf and paste-ready plain text, plus an audit of every claim.

The honesty audit

Every line traces to something you did.

If you can’t defend it in an interview, it doesn’t leave the platform. Each phrase is checked against your facts, and the download stays blocked until all of them have a source. The audit never sees the job posting, so it can’t talk itself into a claim.

See the mechanism, not a promise.

This is an illustrative example, not a real user’s resume.

Job posting excerpt (example)

“Requirements: 5+ years leading cross-functional teams. Experience managing a P&L of $2M+. Salesforce or comparable CRM required.”

Evidence check (example)

  • Leading cross-functional teams: Evidenced (7 years, 3 teams, per your career story)
  • $2M+ P&L ownership: Partial (you described budget responsibility; no dollar figure on file)
  • Salesforce/CRM: Absent (nothing in your profile mentions this)

Resulting resume bullet (example)

“Led cross-functional teams of up to 12 across product, sales, and operations, with budget accountability for regional programs (bullet reflects only what’s evidenced or partial above; no invented CRM experience or dollar figure).”

How every resume is written

The rules behind every resume

These rules come from years of recruiting and coaching, and were validated by comparing AI-generated resumes line by line with candidates’ own documents. Each rule exists to fix a specific problem. Before you can download, an audit checks every resume against them.

01

Nothing invented

Words from a job posting can help describe something you did. They can never create experience you don’t have.

02

Your dates and level stay yours

Dates, employers and seniority come from your Career Profile, and any difference is flagged. When we adapt a title to the posting, your official title stays in parentheses.

03

Your name and contact details go in exactly as saved

Your identity block is inserted from your saved details, not retyped.

04

We ask instead of guessing

Date gaps, overlaps and missing details on your profile become questions for you.

05

Evidence, not scores

Each requirement is marked Evidenced, Partial or Absent. You will never see a match percentage.

06

Nothing hiring shouldn’t weigh

We never ask for your age, photo, marital status or salary history.

Built to be read, not just written

07

Readable by applicant tracking systems

Single-column layout with no tables, images or text boxes.

08

The employer’s language, only where it’s true

Terms from the posting appear only where your facts support them, and an audit checks it.

09

Inclusive by design

No photo, age, marital status or other details that invite bias ever appear on your resume.

10

Impact you can defend

Numbers and results come only from your own facts, and the audit flags anything unsupported or more precise than your source.

11

Years of experience come from your dates

We calculate your total from your saved roles, and any claim above it is flagged.

12

Recent work leads

Roles older than about 15 years are condensed into one line by default, to keep the focus on recent, relevant experience.

Why this exists

Why I built this

Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says everyone has the right to work and to freely choose their employment. That idea has guided my whole career: helping people find work they love, where they can grow and bring their most honest selves.

I was a recruiting director for many years, and I ran a small startup that connected job seekers with open roles. Outside of work, I coached people at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives: out of work and looking. I helped dozens build their resumes by hand and prepared them for the process and for interviews. Every story I heard, what someone had overcome, built and achieved, reminded me how much human potential a weak resume can hide.

Over time I learned which principles give candidates a real advantage, and I turned them into a framework for building resumes. That framework is the intelligence behind this site.

If I can add value for even one person to get a job they merit, I am satisfied.

Frequently asked questions

See all FAQs
Why does positioned.careers require extensive details about my career story?
Every sentence in your generated resume must be based on information you provided, as this is what the audit gate reviews before releasing your resume. The more detailed your story, the better the system can work; it doesn’t invent information to fill in gaps.
What’s the “audit gate”?
Before downloading a resume, each line is verified against your provided facts. If anything cannot be verified, it’s flagged, and you must resolve the issue before the resume can be downloaded. This process ensures accountability similar to defending every statement in an interview.
When is a credit used?
A credit is deducted when you generate a tailored resume, not when you download it. If the audit identifies a problem before download, fixing the issues and rerunning the audit is included in the credit you have already spent. Revision rounds are limited under our policy.
Why don’t you show a match score or fit percentage?
A score simplifies a complex decision into a single number, concealing more than it reveals. Instead, for each requirement in a posting, we indicate whether your experience is evidenced, partial, or absent. This approach lets you see precisely where you stand and make your own judgment, rather than relying solely on an arbitrary score.
Will this create experience I don’t have?
No, the system only uses the information you provide about your career story and uploaded resumes. If a requirement isn’t supported by what you’ve shared, it’s marked as a gap, not fabricated.

Tell your career story once. Position the experience that matters for every job.
